Overview

Vûhæ Chyochyû was founded durring the early 15th century in spring of the year 1434, by Goīs Vúr 'Pearllilyz Raven' Ermboī Ga̋chī Mé̄y Shesí. The establishment of Vûhæ Chyochyû was plagued by a lack of willing colonists. After attempts to pay people to resettle failed Goīs Vúr 'Pearllilyz Raven' Ermboī Ga̋chī Mé̄y Shesí struck deals with nearby nations and communities to establish Vûhæ Chyochyû as a prison colony.

Vûhæ Chyochyû was built using the conventions of Wareneese durring the early 15th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Vûhæ Chyochyû is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature stone brick construction with most buildings posessing towers, turrets, dormers, and wide wrap-around porches. An extreem emphasis on decorative features and emblishments can be seen even on the poorest of homes and makes even the most humble of structures seem a bit regal.

Vûhæ Chyochyû is buildings are grouped arround an odd layout of crampt paverstone streets, which seems to be based on an overlapping squair patern such that there are small squares at the cornor of every bigger square. Sometimes buildings exist in the smaller squaires, other times they are open spaces, or occupied by temporary structures. The town sits behind an impressive looking clay brick wall. The wall is notable for querried stone blocks being used to renforce the clay bricks in the expected manner and locations. While the wall was built to the exact specifications of modern fortifications, one has to wonder why the money invested into creating such a well fortified wall wasnt spent on a less impressive looking wall crated from sturdier materials. Vûhæ Chyochyû's walls would endure a brief bombardment, but only from light siege weapons. It seems more likly the town's walls were not designed with defence in mind but rather lending the town a certain air with visitors. Unfortuantly, these boondoggle-of-a-fortified wall are in extreem disrepair, so much so that one cannot tell if they are decaying from a lack of mantance or damage incured.

Before you’ve even set foot into the heart of Vûhæ Chyochyû, you can smell it. The incense. It hangs about the town like a cloud. Monks, priests, and clerics are everywhere, all dedicated to the same god, all preforming the same rituals to bless and anoint building,s streets, people, animals, you name it they are or have blessed it. The same holysymbols is everywhere too. Its on buildings, on people, and even branded into livestock. This town certainly loves its god.

The style used is best known for the combined use of arcuated and trabeated construction, employing arches and constructed with post and lintel. The arch served as the style's chief structural element, with flanking columns serving as buttresses or decorations.
